I would like to assure everyone that I don't at all enjoy my ongoing quest to find and sample the best in British confectionery and biscuits. It's all for the benefit of my readers (well, those who are based in Britain and share my tastes).
Today I have been trying Thornton's Limited Edition Almond and Amaretto Fudge. It's rather good. Marks and Spencer's new Black Forest chocolate bar is slightly disappointing, however, as it seems to be filled with Benylin rather than the promised cherry conserve. And they seem to have done away with the dark chocolate cherries for Christmas, which is very mean of them.
